22/9/12 U13 Cavan Celtic 5 v 3 Cootehill Harps.

This was a game of 2 halves, with Cootehill playing the better football in the 1st half, But Thomas Lynch equalised just at the break 1-1. Cavan Celtic came out and start spreading the ball around until they scored there 2nd goal from Kyle Tyler. Celtic then scored another within mins, as Jamie Heffernan made it 3-1 to Celtic. Finnon Delaney then made it 4-2 to Celtic, but then a mix up in the Celtic defence lead to another Cootehill goal. But with mins to go, the goal of the game from Morgan McGovern with a 40 yard free-kick into the top corner. Well done to Cavan Celtic.

29/9/12 U13 Ballyjamesduff Tigers 1 v 7 Cavan Celtic.

A strong performance from Celtic as they scored 4 goals in the 1st half, 2 from Jamie Heffernan and 1 each from Jason Nevin and Evan Finnegan making it 4-0 @ half-time. Players of the game, Kyle Tyle and Shane Cosgrove pulled the strings in the midfield for Celtic. Ballyjamesduff did get a goal for all their efforts they made in the game, but more goals for Finnegan, Finnon Delaney and a goal of the Season Contender for Callum Lynch who ran from his own half beating 5 players and scoring a goal he deserved. 

6/10/12 U13 Cavan Celtic 7 v 2 Monaghan Town.

A hat-trick for Callum Lynch, 2 goals from Thomas Lynch and 1 each from Kyle Tyler and Jason Nevin was enough to leave U13 Cavan Celtic on top of the Championship league with 3 wins from 3 games. It wasn't till the 2nd half that Cavan Celtic stepped up their work rate and finishing to take all 3 points in this match. But they didn't get it all there own way as Mon Town played some great football in the 1st half to leave the game 1each at the break. But the Lynchs show in the 2nd half was the killer for Celtic as Callum Lynch scored a brilliant Hat-trick and Thomas Lynch scoring in each half to seal Town's faith. Moment of the game was Thomas Lynch's 1st goal a cracking 25 yard shot into the top corner. Excellent game by both teams.

U13 team will train on Friday's in the Cavan Sports Complex Astro pitch. Time of training will be 6.50pm to 8pm. Players to wear moulded footwear, shinpads, bring a warm jacket and all players to bring €3 subs and a drink. 5. New players always welcome.
